I do know the shift click method, I just couldn't figure out how to put a roof on top of another roof. It gives you total freedom, and it lets me create maps that look appealing, because screenshots sell the pack. The maps were created not in RPG Maker, but in Photoshop. It is a technique called parallax mapping (make the map outside of the editor, then import it back as a parallax), and I am in the process of writing a tutorial on how to create maps just like that. You can still create maps like that, as nothing is 'missing' from the tileset in those screenshots, you just need to not use the map editor of RPG Maker itself, as it has a lot of limitations.
